Photographer Bob Firth was awarded "Best of Show" in the Mississippi River Photo Shoot-out Exhibition for his "Evening Veil" photograph. Mr. Firth's photograph was taken after the sun set at Goose Island Park near La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The exhibition brings together a collection of outstanding contemporary photographs interpreting, documenting, and celebrating the Mississippi River and life along the Mississippi. The exhibition will be on display jointly at the National Great Rivers Museum and the Jacoby Arts Center in Alton, Illinois from April 29 through June 19, 2016. After the initial exhibition the photographs will become a traveling exhibition seen at numerous locations along the Mississippi River.
